The AtoxSIL Eco Flexible Cable is the newest friend of nature, made with insulation of non-halogenated thermoplastic compound (LSHF/A); a bio-polyethylene of renewable origin obtained from sugar cane with low smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire.
APPLICATION:
The AtoxSil Eco 750V flexible cables feature insulation made from bio-polyethylene and can be used in all types of indoor and fixed installations, especially in areas with high occupancy density and/or difficult escape conditions, as required by the NBR 5410 - Low Voltage Electrical Installations standard, which references the NBR 13570:2021 - Electrical installations in places with public influx - Specific requirements.
CONDUCTOR: Copper wires, soft temper, class 4 up to a nominal section of 6mm² and class 5 from a section of 10mm², complying with the NBR NM 280 standard.
INSULATION: Non-halogenated thermoplastic compound (LSHF/A) with low smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire. This compound is a bio-polyethylene produced from sugar cane, meaning it's a plant-based compound, commonly referred to as green plastic for using renewable sources and being 100% recyclable after disposal, for use in other applications.
REFERENCE STANDARD: NBR 13248 - Power cables and insulated conductors without covering, non-halogenated, and with low smoke emission, for voltages up to 1 KV - Performance requirements.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS: NBR NM 280, NBR 11633, NBR 10495 and NBR 12139.
