EYE ON THE BOARD AND PRESENCE IN THE FIELD

Since the return of the soccer championships, fans have gained extra courage in facing the pandemic. The stadiums are still empty and the screams of goals happen in front of the TVs, even so seeing the ball rolling across Brazil remains one of the best entertainments in this “new normal” that we live.

Linked to football since 2002, SIL Fios e Cabos Elétricos, which sees sport as an important relationship channel and a fundamental tool for the positioning of its brand, continues to believe in and invest in national competitions. Always aligned with seeking social well-being through sport, SIL announces its sponsorship in all games of the A, B and C series of the 2021 Brazilian Championship and the renewal of the Copa do Brasil until 2022, consolidating itself with the most present in national football.

Multiplied by the high capillarity of the tournaments, as evidenced by the data presented by Ibope, SIL recognizes the competition's concern with the sanitary protocols imposed by the current moment and the image gains brought about even during the pandemic.

The association of our brand with the world of football is an important part of our communication and when we see national competitions so valued in this turbulent period we are facing, regardless of the team that the person supports, from the perspective of the sponsor, this is very valuable. We managed to position ourselves without being linked to a team, that is, we are together with the national passion itself, football.

ACTIONS FOCUSED IN SPORT

This has been a great step forward in the history of SIL. Sponsorship marketing is our new strategy, as some new initiatives have been adopted in the company related to sports; especially our sponsoring soccer club uniforms with our brand stamped on national and international soccer clubs.

The strategy increases the brand visibility and awareness to the public, whether the sponsorships are long-term, for example: the "Bragantino" team, during the São Paulo Championship, and "Grêmio Prudente", in the "Brasilieirão" championship both in 2010.

One of the specific time-based initiatives was our sponsorship for the "Santos Futebol Clube" and A. A. Flamengo, the Flamengo of Guarulhos, besides punctual actions in the "Copa Libertadores da América", on the Racing jersey, in Montevideo/Uruguay, and the "São Paulo Futebol Clube".
