IT'S HISTORY IS LINKED TO CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENTS

The company began its activities in the 1950s, as the Elétrica Danúbio Company, exclusively actuating in the distribution of electrical supplies in São PauloCity and Greater São Paulo.

In 1974, it also started to manufacture wires and cables, with its small industrial installation in the section of Tatuapé, after that it moved to the traditional industrial district of Mooca, after changing its brand name to SIL.

It displayed impressive growth in its market presence, and then SIL needed to expand its production line and infrastructure. Therefore it moved in 2001 to the city of Guarulhos (SP), set up a modern Industrial and AdministrativeCenter with 30,000 m² floor space.  

Nowadays SIL holds a consolidated market share in its segment, supplying quality products throughout the entire country and achieving recognition and has been awarded several prizes, to confirm its brand name leadership among retailers and specifiers.
